Had a lot of fun earlier this week opening for comedy OG Mark Pitta at Doc’s Lab. Mark has been on the Tonight Show with both Carson and Leno and it was fun to watch a veteran and pro do his thing. And if you haven’t been to Doc’s Lab yet, what the heck are you waiting for? On Monday nights you can get in for free and see all the fun, wackiness and sadness of a comedy open mic. Plus, they make a great burger.

Woman: “You look familiar. Do I know you from somewhere?”
Me: “Maybe…”
Woman: “Where from?”
Me: “Well…I used to be a weatherman on TV here…”
Woman: “No, that’s not it.”
Me: “I do standup comedy all over the city. Maybe that?”
Woman: “No, not that either…”
Me: “Then I’m not sure…”
Woman: “WAIT! Didn’t you work at Old Navy?!?”
Me: “Yes, for a few shifts at Christmas about three years ago…”
Woman: “THAT’S IT!!!!”
